The Wrong Bed podcasts

The Wrong Bed is darts finest bi-monthly podcast, released on the first and third Friday of each month. Interviews with the players, reviews of major tournaments, idle gossip and bad jokes make each episode half an hour of your life that you will never reclaim. Previous episodes are available on iTunes, by clicking on the relevant small black arrow below, or via this direct download.

To receive a message each time a new episode becomes available, please contact mail@justinirwin.com with the phrase I want to get in The Wrong Bed in the title. To get in touch otherwise, please use thewrongbed@bachelorofdarts.com (this goes to Tricky D also), on twitter follow @bachelorofdarts, or keep in touch with TWB via our all-new Facebook page, or by leaving comments below.

At the moment we are looking for: darting injuries, darting lookalikes, people who share their name with a famous dart player, darts games you've made up, tournaments with mates that you play in, and regional dart boards. Of course, if ever you see a dart board on a telly programme or film, we want to hear about that too. Keep in touch.

Episode 5 - From Wolverhampton with love

We're at the Grand Slam of darts with more guests than Jonathon Ross - including the three W's, Wade, Waites, Whitlock. Anastasia drops in after her fantastic televised victory, and we have a proper chat with the Chief Exec of the PDC. All this, The Two Ronnies, some bar-room action and Tricky D trying to talk science. It's a cracker.

Didn't Deta Hedman beat Aaron Turner in 2005 before Anastasia's victory to be the first?

Justin's reply:

Hi Sharon - yep, 4-3 in the second round. With respect to Turner (and Hedman), Anastasia's victory was against a top-32 player in a one-stage tournament on a terestrial channel; Deta beat Turner two rounds before the top-32 even joined the tournament. Anastasia described it as the first; I think I described it as the first in the modern era - I should get a job working for the Premier League football where the past is ignored!! Cheers, Justin

Liking the stereo delivery. It would also be nice to be able to comment, via this site, while the podcast was going on, rather than being redirected away when you click on the leave a comment button. But that's all.

With Ref anastasia and Deta hedman. Deta was playing pdc part time working 2pm-2am mon-Friday driving colin Lloyd to tournaments and having a game. Met anastasia at turkey open where she lost to Deta 3/0 in pairs semi would love to see them play singles . Anastasia said at turkey whatever she does at pdc fellow players say Deta was better! Would love to see a promoter get all the girls together there are awesome players who are paid peanuts if mr hearn put the money up people would be suprised at talent . I for one would not bet against a 50 year old Deta beat the youngsters!! After 11 months she is currently no 1 in bdo 2009/10 rankings. Anastasia v Deta bring it on. Ps when in pdc Deta had to play in ALL qualifying rounds didn't get byes to latter stages

Belgium centerparcs. Detas at it again not only winning mixed pairs with pecker woods and ladies pairs with dee bateman!! But demolished Karen krappen 2sets to nil (3-0,3-1) to win singles with a higher average than the mens champion ( martin Adams) wish people would realise there are awesome players outside of sky and pdc. Once again will pdc put anastasia up against Deta and other bdo girls let's cut through the hype and get it on
